Wushu in China has a long history and is one valuable cultural heritage, now it has become the melting and development model of modern PE, athletics and traditional culture, winning high praise from people in the world and becoming popular sports among people. Zicheng Wushu School carries out enclosing and militarizing management with dormitory in the school. Teaching of art and Wushu are all conforming to standard of Longkou Education Bureau of PE, which treats 9 years’ compulsory education as center, technical secondary school teaching as complement, Wushu training as its characteristic to train qualified Wushu athletes, coaches and judges, transfer qualified students for higher grade PE and Wushu schools. There are Wushu skills, Sanda, kickboxing, traditional Wushu and Rigid Qigong. Annual fee is 1500 Yuan, bed fee is 300 Yuan per year, others will be charged by oneself. Wuhan Physical Education Institute has set up practice teaching base in our school in 2002; in 2003, Shandong Physical Education Institute has set up practice teaching base in our school, either to appoint graduates with bachelor degree from Wushu department to practice in our school.

In addition, 20 scores or below can be added for those who has been elected as Excellent Students in the Province, who has famous story in the aspect of concept, politics and morality, who has gained golden prize in the Olympic Competition for students in high school, who is the first, second or third winner in national competition, who is among the preceding six members in International Sports Competition or National Sports Competition in senior high school, or students who are second athletes of the state or above and have been inspected and ratified by authorities.
Preferential policy for students with strong suits conforming to Suggestions on Graduates from junior high school, eleven-plus examination and students recruitment in Longkou in 2006 (Longkou Education Bureau No. [2006]21 Doc.): for individual competition, 15, 10 or 5 scores will be added for Senior High School Entrance Examination if one is the first, second or third winner in country level competition, 20, 15 or 10 will be added in city level competition, one will be recommended for admission to Senior High School if he is the first, second or third winner, or second grade athlete or above; main force of one team will be awarded in line with individual competition. According to demand of Yantai Party Committee and Yantai People’s Government in “Suggestions on Improving PE Education and Setting Up City Famous for PE”(Yantai No. [2003]24); scores will be added in line with competition result for new graduates in sports school; examinations will be avoided for ones who ranks the eighth positions or preceding in competitions in the city, or who ranks the third position or preceding in team work.
